Prayer In Time Of Any Tribulation

Webmaster's Note: I believe that no prayer or action of the faithful can alleviate this virus unless the people exhibit true conversion and overturn the misguided laws established against God's Commandments. The Lord is deeply hurt by what He observes: the act of abortion (killing), same-sex unions (homosexual relationships), euthanasia (self-harm), cohabitation outside of marriage (infidelity), and civil marriages (abandonment of faith), among others. You cannot serve two masters; to pray for the end of His chastisement while living under unjust laws is contradictory. Leader: Let us begin with the Our Father... All: But deliver us from evil. Psalm 20: A Prayer for Victory For the leader. A Psalm of David. May the Lord respond to you during times of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob grant you protection! May He send you assistance from the sacred place, and provide you strength from Zion. May He acknowledge all your offerings, and look upon your burnt sacrifices with favor. May He fulfill your heart's desires, and bring all your plans to fruition. May we rejoice at your triumph, and in the name of our God raise our banners. May the Lord grant all your requests. Now I have confidence that the Lord will support His chosen one; He will answer him from His holy sanctuary with powerful victories from His right hand. Some place their confidence in chariots, and others in horses, but we boast in the name of the Lord our God. They will falter and fall, but we shall rise and stand firm. Grant victory to the king, O Lord; answer us when we call. After the Psalm, the leader continues: P: God is our refuge and our strength. All: A present help in times of trial. P: Lord, save your servants. All: Who put their trust in you, O God. P: O holy God! O strong and immortal One! All: Have mercy on us. P: Aid us, O God, our Savior. All: Deliver us, O Lord, for the sake of your glory. P: Lord, hear my prayer. All: And let my cry reach you. Let us pray. Almighty God, do not overlook your people who call out to you in their distress, but for the honor of your name, be pleased to assist us in our great trouble. Show us, O Lord, your boundless mercy and erase our wrongdoings. We beseech you, Lord God, give us your servants, the gift of enduring health in body and spirit; and through the glorious intercession of blessed Mary, ever-Virgin, release us from current grief and bestow upon us eternal joy. Hear us, O Lord, in our time of need, and listen to the holy prayers of your Church, and grant that we obtain wholeheartedly whatever we ask in faith; through Christ our Lord. All:Amen.
