Prayer In Time Of Need

Jesus, please don't abandon me in my distress. Lord, You see how frail I am. I find myself lost in misery, I feel like nothing. Why would it be surprising if You were to leave me and let me fall? I am like a child, Lord, unable to manage on my own. Yet, despite feeling abandoned, I place my trust in You. Even when my emotions waver, I strive to be transformed completely into trust. Please do not reduce my sufferings; grant me the strength to endure them. Do with me as You will, Lord, just allow me the grace to love You in every situation and circumstance. Please do not lessen the bitterness of my cup, but equip me with the strength to drink it fully.Amen.
