Almighty Lord, our Father, we express our heartfelt gratitude for the blessing of our children. They bring us immense joy, and we willingly embrace the concerns, fears, and challenges that also accompany this gift. Assist us in nurturing them with authenticity. Through us, you have bestowed life upon them; you have known and cherished them since before time began. Grant us the wisdom to guide their paths, the patience to educate them, and the attentiveness to lead them towards goodness by our own example. Strengthen the love we have for them, that we might welcome them back when they wander and inspire them to be virtuous. It is often challenging to comprehend their needs, to conform to their expectations, and to assist them as they journey through life. May they always regard our home as a refuge during their times of trouble. Teach and support us, O merciful Father, through the grace of Jesus, your Son and our Lord.Amen.
