Prayer Of Thanksgiving

Almighty and most holy God, eternal and supreme; Father, just and sacred; Lord of heaven and earth, we express our gratitude for your presence. By your divine will, through your only Son and the Holy Spirit, you brought everything into existence, both spiritual and material. You created us in your own image and likeness, and placed us in a paradise, yet we fell from grace through our disobedience. We thank you, for just as you fashioned us through your Son, it was through the immense love you have for us that you chose for Him to be born, true God and true man, from the glorious and revered Virgin Mary. Through His cross, blood, and death, you desired to liberate us from our bondage. We also offer our thanks because your Son will return in the splendor of His majesty to judge those who have refused to turn back to you, while inviting those who have embraced, worshipped, and served you with a penitent heart: 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; inherit the kingdom prepared for you since the foundation of the world.' Recognizing our own wretchedness as sinners, unworthy to utter your name, we ask that Jesus Christ, our Lord and beloved Son, in whom you take delight, may offer thanks to you for all things, alongside the Holy Spirit, the Advocate, in a manner pleasing to both you and Him. He perpetually fulfills all your desires, and through Him, you have showered upon us countless blessings.Amen.
