Prayer To Begin The Day

As the dawn breaks, my thoughts turn to You, Lord, and I long to serve You with joy. I gladly dedicate this day to Your Sacred Heart, offering up whatever joys and challenges it may hold. I am grateful for the graces You will bestow upon me — for the love, the beauty, and the ways You will respond to my petitions. May I find the strength to love those who oppose me and treat each person as I wish to be treated. Help me to forgive endlessly and to show mercy; may I embrace the wayward and care for those in need; strive to bring peace and love my neighbors without conditions. Lord, take all that I am — my heart, mind, and strength — so that this day can be a true reflection of Your glory and contribute to the salvation of souls.Amen.
