Prayer To Christ In His Passion And Death

Hail, dear Jesus! To You, O Christ, be all praise, honor, and glory, for willingly You accepted death. In surrendering Yourself to Your heavenly Father, bowing Your holy head, You released Your spirit. In this way, laying down Your life for Your sheep, You revealed Yourself as the good shepherd. You died, O only Son of God. You died, my cherished Savior, so that I may have eternal life. How profound my hope, how deep my trust I place in Your death and precious Blood! I extol and honor Your Holy Name, recognizing my boundless gratitude towards You. O loving Jesus, through Your sorrowful death and Passion, grant me grace and forgiveness. Provide peace and eternal life to the faithful departed.Amen.
