Prayer To Christ In His Passion And Death

Hail, beloved Jesus! All praise, honor, and glory be Yours, O Christ, who voluntarily faced death, entrusting Yourself to Your heavenly Father. Lowering Your sacred head, You surrendered Your spirit. By laying down Your life for Your flock, You have revealed Yourself as the true shepherd. You died, O eternal Son of God. You died, dear Savior, so that I may have eternal life. What immense hope and trust I place in Your death and in Your precious Blood! I elevate and honor Your Holy Name, recognizing my countless debts to You. O merciful Jesus, through Your anguished death and Passion, grant me grace and mercy. Bestow upon the departed faithful eternal peace and everlasting life.Amen.
