Prayer To Divine Providence

O Gentle and Compassionate Providence of God, into Your care I entrust my spirit, surrendering myself wholly—my hopes, my fears, my longings, my aversions, along with my temporal and eternal concerns. I place the needs of my fragile body in Your hands, and I also offer the far more valuable matters of my eternal soul, for which I need not worry as long as I remain close to Your embrace. Despite my numerous faults, my immense struggles, and my deep spiritual poverty, my trust in You is greater than all. It outshines my challenges and is stronger than death itself. Even if I face temptations, I will continue to hope in You; should my weaknesses threaten to overwhelm me, I will still hope in You; even if I falter in my resolutions time and again, I will seek Your grace to finally uphold them; even if it seems You were to take my life, I will place my trust in You, for You are my God, my Father, and my Friend. You are my kind, loving, and forgiving Parent, and I am Your cherished Child, who throws myself into Your arms and seeks Your blessing. I put my faith in You, and with that faith, I shall never be disappointed. Providence has provided. Providence is providing. Providence will provide. O Loving Providence of God, we commend this cause to You.
