The prayer
Dear Lord Jesus, whose heart is gentle and humble, overflowing with compassion and a creator of peace, you embraced a life of simplicity and faced persecution in the pursuit of justice. You took up the Cross as your route to triumph, illuminating for us the path to salvation. Grant that we may accept the Gospel's message with joy and follow your example, becoming true heirs and citizens of your kingdom.Amen.
