Prayer To Jesus Before The Blessed Sacrament

Lord Jesus, each time I gaze upon the holy Host, purify my sight, allowing me to turn ever more away from that which is simply of this world. Each time I look at the blessed Sacrament, let a beam of Your divine light shine into my spirit, helping me to understand both You and myself more fully. Each time I behold the sacred Host, ignite a fire of heavenly love within my heart to cleanse all that does not please You and to enkindle it all with Your love. In this life and beyond, may my sole aspiration be to reflect on the boundless beauty of Your divine presence, which brings joy to the angels.Amen.
