Prayer To Know Jesus Christ

Lord Jesus, following the example of Saint Paul, may I view all things as insignificant when compared to the incomparable blessing of knowing you. I desire to understand your passion and the power of your resurrection. I wish to partake in your sorrows, trusting that if I share in your death, I might also rise with you. Grant me the grace to strive diligently to enhance my faith with courage, my understanding with self-discipline, my discipline with perseverance, my perseverance with holiness, my holiness with brotherly love, and my brotherly love with charity. May these qualities keep me engaged and fruitful, leading me to a profound understanding of you, Lord Jesus Christ.Amen.
