Prayer To Obtain Final Perseverance

Eternal Father, I bow before You in deep reverence and gratitude for creating me and for redeeming me through Jesus Christ. I appreciate the gift of Christianity You have bestowed upon me, granting me true faith and adopting me as Your child through the sacrament of holy Baptism. I am thankful for the opportunity to repent after my numerous sins, trusting that You have forgiven all my transgressions against You, O Infinite Goodness. I also express gratitude for Your protection, which has kept me from falling into sin again, as I surely would have if You had not supported and rescued me. My adversaries continue to oppose me, and they will do so until my last breath, seeking to bind me to sin once more. Without Your constant aid and protection, I fear I might be left in a wretched state, losing Your grace again. Therefore, I implore You, for the love of Jesus Christ, to grant me holy perseverance until my last moment. Your Son Jesus has assured us that You will fulfill our requests made in His name. In the merits of Jesus Christ, I plead for myself and for all who dwell in Your grace, that we may never be severed from Your love, but instead, may we continuously love You both in this life and in the life to come. Mary, Mother of God, intercede with Jesus on my behalf.
