Prayer To Obtain The Holy Love Of Jesus Christ

Beloved Jesus, my crucified Love! I believe in You and acknowledge You as the true Son of God and my Savior. I worship You from the depths of my own insignificance, and I am grateful for the sacrifice You endured for me, that I may receive the gift of Divine grace. My cherished Redeemer, to You I owe all my salvation; through You, I have avoided eternal damnation and have been forgiven my transgressions. Yet, I am deeply ungrateful, for rather than loving You, I have persisted in my offenses against You. I recognize that I deserve condemnation for this, which would sever my ability to love You any longer. But, dear Jesus, I plead for Your mercy; punish me in any other way but this. While I may not have loved You in the past, I now desire nothing more than to love You wholeheartedly. However, I am powerless without Your aid. As You command me to love You, grant me the strength to adhere to this sweet and loving charge. You have promised that whatever we ask in Your name will be given. Therefore, with confidence in Your promise, my dear Jesus, I first seek forgiveness for all my sins. I am truly sorry, above all, for having offended You, O Infinite Goodness! I ask for the grace of holy perseverance until my final breath, but above all, I implore the gift of Your holy love. Ah, my Jesus, my Hope, my Love, my All, ignite in me that love which You came to kindle on earth! Help me live in accordance with Your holy will. Illuminate my heart to recognize how deserving You are of our love and to comprehend the boundless love You have shown me, particularly through Your sacrifice of life for me. Therefore, grant that I may love You with all my heart, constantly, and always seek Your grace to love You in this life, that I may live and die in Your love, and ultimately love You in Heaven with all my strength for eternity. O Mother of beautiful love, my intercessor and refuge, Mary, who is the most beloved, beautiful, and loving of all God's creations, and seeks only to see Him loved! Ah, by the love you bear for Jesus Christ, please pray for me and obtain for me the grace to love Him always and with all my heart! This I ask and hope for from you.Amen.
