Prayer To Overcome Evil Passions And To Become A Saint

Lord Jesus, in the Sacrament of the Altar, I offer endless gratitude and praise to You. You are Love itself, deserving of all love, both heavenly and earthly! Out of boundless love for me, a sinner ungrateful, You took on our human form, poured out Your Precious Blood through the brutal scourging, and willingly endured a disgraceful death on the Cross for our salvation! With a fervent faith now alive in me, I pour forth my entire being in this prayer. I humbly ask You, through the immense value of Your suffering, to grant me the strength and courage to eradicate every sinful desire that influences my heart, to honor You by faithfully fulfilling my responsibilities, to utterly detest all sin, and in doing so, to be transformed into a Saint.
