Prayer To St. Gregory Vii Pope And Confessor

O steadfast guardian of the Church's liberty, Saint Gregory, honored and revered, through the strength you portrayed in defending her rights against her adversaries, extend your powerful hand from Heaven, we implore you, to support and shield her in the relentless struggle against the forces of evil. Particularly, impart your courage to the esteemed Pontiff, who not only inherits your seat but also bears the bravery of your noble spirit. Grant him the happiness of witnessing his holy efforts rewarded by the Church's victory and the return of wayward souls to the right path. Lastly, enable all to realize the futility of opposing the faith that has triumphed throughout history and is destined to prevail perpetually: "this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith." This prayer is what we unitedly present to you; and we trust that once you hear our petitions here on earth, you will one day invite us to join you in Heaven, in the presence of the eternal High Priest, Who with the Father and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns forever and ever.Amen.
