Prayer To The Heart Of Jesus

O Jesus, we acknowledge your gentleness and recognize that you offered your Heart for our sake. It was encircled by a crown of thorns due to our transgressions. We are aware that even now, you intercede for us to prevent our loss. Remember us, Jesus, when we stumble into sin. Through your most Sacred Heart, inspire us to love one another. Eradicate hatred among humanity. Reveal to us your love. We all cherish you and desire your protection with your Heart as the Good Shepherd. Enter into each heart, Jesus! Tap at the door of our souls. Be patient and persistent with us. We remain closed off because we have not grasped your divine will. Knock repeatedly, O Jesus, and make our hearts receptive to you, if only by recalling the Passion you endured for us.Amen.
