Prayer To The Shoulder Wound Of Christ

O Loving Jesus, gentle Lamb of God, I, a wretched sinner, humbly greet and venerate the most Sacred Wound of Your Shoulder, upon which You bore the weight of Your heavy Cross. This wound so painfully tore Your flesh and exposed Your bones, causing You a suffering greater than any other affliction of Your Most Blessed Body. I worship You, O Jesus, full of sorrow; I exalt and glorify You, and I express my gratitude for this most sacred and tormenting Wound. Pleading with You, through that extreme anguish and by the overwhelming weight of Your heavy Cross, I ask for Your mercy upon me, a sinner. Forgive all my grave and lesser sins, and guide me towards Heaven along the path of Your Cross.Amen.
