Prayer To The Shoulder Wound Of Our Lord Jesus

O beloved Jesus, gentle Lamb of God, even though I am a sinful and miserable being, I worship You and honor the Wound caused by the immense burden of Your Cross, which tore open Your flesh, revealing the bones of Your Sacred Shoulder, and in which Your sorrowful Mother Mary shared so deeply in compassion. I too, dear Jesus, join in this sympathy with You, and from the depths of my heart, I praise You and express my gratitude for this painful wound to Your shoulder, where You carried the Cross for my salvation. In light of the sufferings You endured, which magnified the heavy load of Your Cross, I humbly implore Your mercy on me, a poor sinner; forgive my transgressions and guide me to heaven through the path of the Cross. Say the "Hail Mary" 3 times. Holy Mother, inscribe in my heart the wounds of Christ, our Crucified Lord. O Sweet Jesus, do not act as my Judge; rather, be my Savior. (Saint Bernard inquired of the Divine Redeemer about the most painful and least known wound He suffered. Jesus replied: "I had a profound wound upon my shoulder from carrying my heavy cross. This wound was the most excruciating of all. Most people remain unaware of it. Honor this wound, and I will grant you all your requests.")
