Prayer To The Virgin Mary Against Abortion

O Mary, Mother of our Savior and our Mother, we turn to you today, the one who embraced Life with your 'Yes.' The angel proclaimed, 'You will conceive and bear a Son.' In your moment of surprise and uncertainty, you accepted this call, saying, 'Let it be done to me according to your word.' Today, we lift up in prayer all mothers who fear the prospect of motherhood. We ask for your intercession for those feeling threatened and weighed down by their pregnancy. Please pray for them, that God may grant them the grace to respond with a 'yes' and the strength to persevere. May they possess the grace to turn away from the deceptive choice of abortion. May they join you in saying, 'Let it be done to me according to your word.' May they receive support from the Christian community and experience the peace that comes from following God's will.Amen.
