Preparatory Prayer Before Receiving Holy Communion

O Holy Tabernacle! You hold the precious Bread from heaven, the sustenance of angels, the eucharistic gift to our souls. My heart yearns for You, O loving and gentle Jesus, who remain concealed in the Blessed Sacrament! You are my Lord, my God, and my all, and today You graciously come to me in holy communion. I adore You deeply, alongside the angels who gather around Your mercy and compassion at the altar. I bless You; I express my gratitude for all the graces that I have received through the Holy Eucharist; I ask for forgiveness for having sinned against You; I now love You with my entire heart. I wish to offer this communion in reparation for all the offenses made against You in this sacrament of love, and especially to make amends for my own sins and neglects. I also bring before You my particular intentions and petitions which I now present to Your sacred Heart (Mention your intentions here...). With great confidence, I approach the Holy table today, trusting that You, O Lord, will fulfill all my requests.Amen.
