This act encourages us to seek true detachment from earthly attachments, teaching us that our ultimate joy lies in God alone. O great Virgin and dear Mother! By your courageous decision to choose God's service over earthly ties, help us overcome our attachments. Grant that we may seek our true good and cherish the promise of eternal joy with you in Paradise. Aid us in our desire to let go of worldly distractions.
