Priest's Declaration Of Intention Before Mass

I intend to celebrate the Holy Mass and to offer the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ in accordance with the rites of the Holy Roman Church, for the glory of Almighty God and for the triumph of the Church in heaven. I do this for my own benefit and for the good of the Church on earth, for all those who have entrusted themselves to my prayers, and for the welfare of the Holy Roman Church. Amen. May the Lord, in His mercy, grant us joy and peace, a true change of heart, an opportunity for sincere penance, the grace and consolation of the Holy Spirit, and perseverance in good deeds.Amen.
