Rogation Day Prayers

Our efforts are in vain unless You, O God, grant Your blessing; our hopes for a fruitful harvest will remain unfulfilled until You bring forth life from what we plant. Yet the moment approaches when Your glory will fill the earth as the waters cover the sea. In addition to our regular family prayers during the Easter season, we offer this: Father: Let us praise the Lord, for He is good. Family: His steadfast love is everlasting. Father: We humbly request You, Almighty God, that amid our struggles, we may trust in Your goodness, and through Your guidance, we may be shielded from all misfortunes. Family: And I say to you; ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives, and whoever seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Alleluia.
