O Holy Father, may the streams of love flowing from the sacred wounds of your Divine Son inspire the rise of priests like the cherished disciple John, who stood near the cross. Let these priests, as a testament to your deep and tender love, offer your Divine Son to the souls of men with great devotion. May your priests serve as diligent protectors of your Church, just as John did for Mary, whom he welcomed into his home. Guided by this loving Mother, who endured great suffering at Calvary, may they exhibit a mother's compassion and attentiveness towards your children. May they lead souls to foster a profound union with you through Mary, who, as the Gate of Heaven, diligently guards the treasures of your Divine Heart. Grant us priests filled with fervor, true to their identity as children of Mary, who will share Jesus with souls with the same tenderness and care that Mary had when she bore the Little Child of Bethlehem.
