Short Prayers For Priests

O Jesus, Savior of humanity, consecrate your priests and those in formation. Lord God, you chose to connect your divine mission with the service of priests to shepherd your people. Bestow upon them the grace to embrace your holy will, that in their lives and work, they may always seek to honor your name. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen. O God, bless us with holy priests who will offer the Sacrifice of Salvation, provide solace to the repentant, and nourish the thirsty with the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. Amen. Lord, grant us numerous and holy priests. Provide us with holy priests who can comfort the afflicted, remind us of our shared humanity, and bless our homes, our labors, and our lands, so that your kingdom may flourish among all souls. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, grant your Church many holy priests. Queen of the Apostles, intercede for us.Amen.
