In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. The Bishop of Regensburg In 1260, St. Albert was appointed Bishop of Regensburg but resigned two years later, viewing himself as unworthy of such a high office. This act of humility underscores his character and illustrates the virtue of self-awareness in service. He prioritized his devotion to learning and teaching over ambition for status. O St. Albert, humble servant of God, teach us the grace of humility in our lives. May we recognize our strengths while also acknowledging our limitations, striving to serve faithfully without seeking worldly praise. Help us to find true purpose in each role we embrace.
