In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Enduring Suffering Even as St. Alphonsus endured great physical suffering in his later years, he found ways to continue his pastoral mission. His spirit exemplified an unwavering commitment to serve God and his community despite personal pain. This approach challenges us to find meaning and purpose in our suffering, offering our struggles to God for the sake of others. O suffering St. Alphonsus, you bore your pain with grace and continued to serve. Help us to bear our own sufferings with dignity, uniting them with Christ’s passion. May we recognize that our trials can bear fruit for others and draw us closer to God’s love. St. Alphonsus, help me to endure my suffering with faith and hope.
