In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Joy in Adversity St. Andrew faced many trials, including illness, yet he endured these challenges with a calm demeanor and a joyful spirit. His ability to find peace amidst turmoil encourages us to trust in God’s plan, knowing that even suffering can lead us closer to Him. This perspective on adversity invites us to embrace our struggles as opportunities for growth. O Saint Andrew Avellino, you faced trials with grace and joy, teaching us to trust in God during adversity. Help us to adopt a similar spirit, recognizing that our struggles can deepen our faith and bring us closer to the Lord. May we, too, find joy in the journey, even when it is difficult.
