The Influence of Saint Monica Your mother, Saint Monica, devoted herself to prayer for your conversion, showcasing the profound impact of parental love. Her unwavering faith nurtured your spiritual quest, providing the foundation for your eventual transformation. Through her example, you teach us the importance of steadfast prayer in the journey of faith. O St. Augustine, beloved son of Saint Monica, inspire us to honor our mothers' dedication to us. May we too be encouraged by their prayers and strive for holiness in our own lives. Help us to cultivate the seeds of faith that they have planted within us.
