The Gift of Humility St. Benedict Joseph Labre's life was a remarkable narrative of humility, as he embraced his role as a beggar while recognizing the dignity of all people. He teaches us that true greatness lies in serving others and placing ourselves last in our thoughts and actions. O humble St. Benedict Joseph Labre, you lived among the poor and taught us the value of humility. Help us to embrace this virtue, seeing each individual as a reflection of God's image. May we find joy in serving others and realizing our own worth through God's eyes. Through your intercession, I pray for a heart of humility that serves rather than seeks to be served.
