This childlike faith laid the foundation for your eventual vocation as a Franciscan friar, reminding us that a genuine connection with God often begins in our youth. Your early life teaches us the importance of nurturing a spirit of faith in the hearts of children. O St. Bernardine of Siena, from childhood you embodied a deep faith and devotion to God. May we cultivate that same purity of heart and spirit in our lives, encouraging others to embrace faith like you did. Intercede for us, that we may inspire the youth around us to live virtuous lives.
