Compassion in Service In times of crisis, especially during the plague in Siena, your compassion stood out as you selflessly cared for the sick. Your actions not only reflected your Christian duties but also exemplified Christ-like love for those in need. This focus on serving others with kindness draws us to consider how we can make a difference in the lives of those who suffer around us. St. Bernardine, your compassionate heart shone brightly in difficult times. Teach us to embrace the suffering of others, offering our care and support without hesitation. Help us see the face of Christ in everyone we encounter, fostering a spirit of service in our communities. May we follow your example and become instruments of His love.
