In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Founding a Community In 1115, Bernard founded the Abbey of Clairvaux, which became a beacon of Cistercian life. His ability to inspire others and his inviting spirit attracted many to share in the monastic journey, exemplifying the significance of community in spiritual growth. Bernard’s life encourages us to recognize the power of unity in faith and the grace found within a shared mission. Dear St. Bernard, founder of Clairvaux, grant us the wisdom to build community in our own lives. Help us appreciate the strength found in fellowship as we walk together on our spiritual journey. May we support one another in faith just as you did with your monks. Guide me in creating a deeper sense of community in my intentions.
