In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Compassion for the Poor Your intense compassion for the sick and poor established your reputation in Siena. You didn't shy away from serving those in need, and your charitable acts reflected the love of Christ. This aspect of your life reminds us that true devotion expresses itself in concrete actions of love and service. O St. Catherine, you lived a life rich in compassion, reaching out to the poor and sick. Inspire us to show such love in our own lives, mirroring Christ’s charitable heart. May we never turn away from those in need, but embrace our call to serve with joy and humility. Through your intercession, grant my intention as I strive to be a source of hope for others.
