St Charbel Novena - Day 5

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Dearest Lord, you have inspired St Charbel, the saint monk, to lead the perfect life of a hermit. We thank You for granting him the blessing and the strength to detach himself from the world so that the heroic monastic virtues of poverty, chastity, and obedience, could triumph in his hermitage. We ask for his intercession in this novena. Oh, Saint Charbel, loved by God, enlighten me, help me and teach me how to please God. Hurry to my rescue. Oh affectionate Father; I beg of you to ask God for this grace (mention request here…). Oh, Saint Charbel, friend of the crucified, intercede for me. Oh, God hear my request through Saint Charbel’s intercession. Save my poor heart and give me peace. Calm the troubles of my soul. Glory to you till the end.
