Motherly Love for the Living and Dead Saint Christina's compassion transcended borders, reaching into both the living and the dead. Her maternal care for the souls in Purgatory shows us the depth of love we are called to embody for all of God's children. This aspect of her life urges us to cultivate a universal love that does not end with death. O St. Christina, motherly figure to those suffering, inspire us to love unconditionally. Help us to care for both the living and the dead with the same zeal you showed. May your example lead us to a life of generous compassion. Through your intercession, grant me the grace I now ask….
