In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Call to Service Saint Damien responded to a deep sense of vocation that called him beyond the familiar comforts of his life. By entering the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts, he embraced a mission that would lead him to serve the marginalized and suffering. This willingness to serve others, regardless of their circumstances, embodies the spirit of true discipleship. O St. Damien, you heard the call to serve those in need without hesitation. Help us to listen for God’s call in our lives, guiding us to serve others with the same love and dedication that you showed. May we find joy in serving those whom society often forgets, opening our hearts to the call of compassion. In your intercession, I ask for strength to embrace my own call to service and to be an instrument of God's love.
