In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Compassion for the Outcast Damien lived among those suffering from leprosy, sharing in their pain and despair. His choice to immerse himself in their lives demonstrated not only his compassion but also Christ's love for the marginalized. By welcoming the outcast, he transformed their suffering into a shared experience of hope and restoration. Saint Damien, you offered a compassionate heart to those shunned by society. Teach us to extend our hearts to the outcasts of our own communities, embracing them with love and dignity. May our actions reflect the tenderness of Christ, helping to heal the wounds of loneliness and despair. I seek your guidance to recognize and support those who feel marginalized and isolated.
