St. Edmund, despite the immense pressure to recant, you stood firm, proclaiming your identity as a priest. Your courageous testimony reminds us of the vital role of standing for our beliefs, even when faced with hostility. O St. Edmund Campion, you exemplified the courage to speak the truth in the face of persecution. May your example inspire us to be bold witnesses to our faith in today's world. Help us to respect and uphold our beliefs firmly, even when challenged by others. Grant us the strength to defend our convictions with love and compassion.
