In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Suffering for Christ St. Edmund, your suffering during imprisonment, coupled with the physical abuse you endured, reflects the trials faced by many faithful in harsh conditions. Your endurance began to shift hearts and minds, showing others the power of unwavering faith. Suffering can often lead us closer to God, and your example of acceptance inspires us even in our struggles. O St. Edmund Campion, you bore your sufferings with grace and dignity. Intercede for us that we may also find strength in our trials, drawing closer to Christ amid adversity. Help us to view our own suffering as an opportunity for growth and deeper faith. May we always seek to unite our hardships with your sacrificial love for God. Help me to find meaning and grace in my own sufferings.
