Suffering as Transformation Throughout her health struggles, particularly her battle with Addison's disease, Elizabeth remained steadfast in her faith, viewing her suffering as an opportunity for deeper union with God. Her understanding showcased how pain and trials could draw one closer to the divine, serving as a ladder to deeper spirituality. O Blessed Elizabeth, you faced illness with unwavering faith. Teach us to embrace our own sufferings, transforming them into moments of grace and deeper union with the Lord. I offer my intention to you now.
