In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Suffering and Compassion The loss of your first two children deepened your empathy and compassion for those who suffer. This personal heartache drew you closer to the poor and sick, guiding you toward a life of service even amidst your own grief. You learned to extend comfort to others in their pain, mirroring Christ's love. O compassionate Saint Frances, through your own sufferings, you drew strength to serve others in need. Help us to cultivate compassion in our hearts and respond to the suffering of those around us with love and understanding. May we find grace in our trials and share that grace with others. Pray that we may be inspired to reach out to those who are hurting, reflecting your boundless compassion.
