Service During the Plague In 1400, during a devastating plague in Rome, you devoted yourself to caring for the sick and the dying. Risking your own health, you exemplified profound selflessness and commitment to the welfare of your neighbors, earning admiration from your community for your bravery. O brave Saint Frances, your willingness to serve the afflicted exemplifies true Christian love. Inspire us to care for those in need, especially in times of crisis. May we recognize the face of Christ in the suffering and follow your example of courage in our service. Through your intercession, may we find the strength to act selflessly in difficult times.
