In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Pastoral Care in Geneva As a bishop in Geneva, Francis de Sales faced the daunting challenge of leading a Catholic community amidst a Protestant stronghold. His ability to connect with the people through kindness and gentle pastoral care turned hearts back to God during a turbulent time in Church history. This compassionate approach emphasized the significance of love and understanding in ministry. O gentle Francis, you showed us how love and compassion can transform hearts. Help me to serve others with kindness, especially those who feel lost or distant from God. May your pastoral spirit inspire me to build a community of love and support for all. Grant me the grace to be a source of comfort as you were. I ask for your intercession as I strive to serve others in my community.
