Devotion to Mary's Sorrows St. Gabriel’s devotion to Mary’s sorrows sheds light on the significance of veneration in our faith journey. By honoring the sufferings of Our Lady, he showed us the path to deepen our relationship with her and her Son. Our understanding of Christ’s Passion becomes richer when we accept and contemplate the sorrows of His Mother. O St. Gabriel, devoted to Our Lady of Sorrows, help us to honor the suffering of Mary. Inspire us to grow in our own devotion through prayer and contemplation, so we may understand the depth of her love and pain. May we draw closer to Jesus through her heart. We plead for your intercession in our needs. O St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin, we humbly ask you to intercede before God on our behalf, especially for the intentions we now present before you.
