Apprenticeship in Humility As a tailor’s apprentice, St. Gerard endured mistreatment yet cultivated a spirit of humility and service. His experiences prepared him for a life dedicated to aiding those in need, reflecting a heart aligned with Christ’s values. This humility became a cornerstone of his ministry, especially toward expectant mothers. O St. Gerard, model of humility, inspire within me the grace to serve others selflessly. Help me to embody the love you showed toward those you cared for, especially mothers and their children. May your example encourage me to find joy in humility and service. May your prayers support my journey to motherhood and enhance my spirit of service.
