In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. The Shepherdess's Solitude In her early years, Germaine Cousin was often alone, isolated from her family and living as a shepherdess. This solitude, marked by neglect and cruelty, became her sacred space where she developed a deep relationship with God. Despite her isolation, she embraced her solitude with a joyful heart, trusting in divine providence while attending daily Mass and praying fervently for the less fortunate. O Saint Germaine, in your solitude as a shepherdess, you found strength in God’s presence. Help us to turn our lonely moments into opportunities for deeper faith. May we rely on Him as you did, finding solace even in trials and tribulations. Intercede for us, that we may recognize God in our moments of solitude.
