St Gregory the Great Novena - Day 1

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. The Call to Monastic Life St. Gregory, after the death of his father, chose to leave behind a life of public service and transform his family home into a monastery. This moment marked a profound spiritual awakening, setting the course for his devotion to God and the Church. In embracing monastic life, he exemplified the importance of discernment and commitment to one's faith. O St. Gregory the Great, intruding into the serene life of the monastery was not an easy choice. Guide me in discerning the path that brings me closer to God. May your example inspire me to live a life devoted to prayer and service. Help me to also create spaces of peace and reflection in my own life.
