In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Encounters with Diverse Cultures As the Jesuits began their missions across different lands, St. Ignatius emphasized the importance of engaging with diverse cultures. He understood that faith could transcend borders and that understanding others was key to evangelization. Ignatius’ vision embraced the beauty of God’s creation through an appreciation of varying traditions and languages in service to the Gospel. O St. Ignatius, cultivate in me a spirit of openness toward all cultures. Teach me to embrace diversity as a reflection of God’s creativity and love. May I learn to share the Gospel with respect and understanding, meeting others where they are. Help me to recognize your light in every person I encounter.
