The Idea of a University Through your work in establishing the Catholic University of Ireland, you championed the integration of faith and academic inquiry. Your vision sought to foster a learning environment where students could explore both intellect and spirituality. This endeavor reflects your understanding that faith enhances knowledge and vice versa. O St. John Henry Newman, visionary of Catholic education, guide us towards an understanding of the relationship between faith and reason. May our pursuit of knowledge be imbued with wisdom from above, and may we strive for excellence in both our academic and spiritual lives. Amen.
